Our Story

Queenstown is often referred to as the 'adventure capital of the world'.  Having lived in New Zealand for over 14 years, we can vouch for that.  Our love of the outdoors and running (more like jogging) came from the many trails we explored around this stunning region.

Our activewear brand is inspired by the iconic Remarkable Mountains that dominate the skyline.  Lord of the Rings fans may recognise them as they also featured prominently in the movies.

Our 'Remarkable Running' online store was launched in 2025 upon our return to the UK, to offer quality performance clothing for casual runners and everyday use.  Our curated line of activewear products draw from our own running experiences where comfort and performance are a welcoming hand to finishing another run! 

A note from the owner:

"It wasn't until I arrived in New Zealand 14 years ago that I realised just how wrong my clothes were for hiking, long walks and running.  Out went the heavy cotton and in came lightweight, quick drying clothing that made outdoor activities so much more enjoyable.  Yes, it took relocating to the other side of the world to sort my wardrobe out!
