T-Shirt Testing On The Luz to Burgau Trail

Escaping the cold Autumn weather of the south-coast of the UK, we headed to the heat of the Algarve to test our range of T-shirts.  

We hit the popular 5km trail from the small beach resort town of Praia Da Luz to the pretty village of Burgau.  In 27c heat, our Tri-Dri and' 'Cool' T-Shirts were given a proper workout as we hiked over the coastal route that followed round the pretty peninsula.

It's a fairly flat route with one steep hill to ascend and descend on so you'll need decent footwear to handle the rocky pathway.  It's also fairly well signposted, just look out for the blue and green markings on the stones along the route and the occasional posts with the same markings.

It took us just over an hour to complete the trail which is filled with beautiful views of the ocean and striking cliffs.  Once reaching Burgau, we'd suggest a stop at Cafe B overlooking the pretty beach - the cooked breakfast is excellent!  Burgau is a lovely village with a sandy beach enclosed by cliffs either side. 

The village has a number of cafes bars and restaurants so it's great place to reward yourself at the end of your hike or your half-way point.  It was the latter for us as soon after we headed back to Luz to work off the breakfast and take in more of the glorious scenery.

What a fun way to test the T-Shirts - which really helped with the heat and felt very light and breathable when working up a sweat.
